Commercial construction firm Flintco LLC will build a 90,000-square-foot cargo facility at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.

The new cargo facility, which is estimated to cost $16.5 million, is just one of the many expansion priorities at ABIA to keep up with growing demand.
Eric Churchill, director of business development at Flintco, said he expects construction to begin in April. Austin City Council on Nov. 4 authorized staff to award Flintco the construction work.
