First phase of Lakeline Park to open this summer in Cedar Park

Lakeline Park’s first phase is anticipated to open in summer 2022, according to the city of Cedar Park.

Cedar Park’s next largest city park will be located on 200 acres between Bell Boulevard and Little Elm Trail. Construction began in August, and completed work includes installation of erosion control, site work clearing, excavation, embankment, and water and sewer line installation, according to the city.

Phase 1 will include a multipurpose pavilion for music and performing arts, 3 miles of trails, a great lawn, a fishing pier, pavilions, multipurpose practice fields, a cricket field and wildflower meadows on 64 acres.The $10.3 million project is funded through general obligation bonds, Type B Community Development funds, parkland dedication funds, utility funds and Texas Parks & Wildlife Department grant funds.
