Social Media Giant To Expand Into Pflugerville, Texas.
Facebook is planning a space in the Heatherwilde 45 industrial business park in Pflugerville, Texas, located about 18 miles north of downtown Austin.
Facebook is growing in Central Texas with a new lease in an industrial business park in a small suburb north of Austin.
The social media giant received permits to occupy 32,355 square feet within a business park in Pflugerville, Texas, a spokesperson for the Pflugerville Economic Development Corp. said in a phone call with CoStar News.
Facebook filed permitting documents with the state for modifying a space at 19025 N. Heatherwilde Blvd., located just off state Highway 45 within Heatherwilde 45, a relatively new business park developed by Austin-based Live Oak.
In Pflugerville, Elon Musk’s The Boring Co. is planning a 42,000-square-foot location at 15709 Impact Way, according to CoStar records. The city also is home to a new massive Amazon fulfillment center that was slated to open this year.
